Why You Should Visit
Old Man's Cave is without a doubt the most popular area in Hocking Hills. The name "Old Man's Cave" refers to the large recess cave located between the area's Upper and Lower Falls. The cave was named after Richard Rowe, who came to Ohio in 1795 and ended up living the remainder of his life in the recess cave. This area is best known for the beautiful Upper and Lower Falls, which you can almost always expect to be flowing. Downstream from the Lower Falls is the 60-foot Broken Rock Falls.
