Located just upstream from Deer Lick Cave, this small waterfall is a nice added bonus to the already impressive scenery of Deer Lick Cave. Right above the waterfall, the creek has cut away at the rock, creating a surprisingly beautiful mini river rapid.

Getting to Deer Lick Cave Falls:
There are two ways to get to this waterfall: an easy way and a rewarding way. The best way to truly appreciate this waterfall and the adjacent cave is to take the Deer Lick Cave Trail, 3.9-mile loop marked with Oak Leaf Blazes that begins at the Brecksville Reservation Nature Center on Chippewa Creek Drive. Deer Lick Cave and falls are roughly the halfway point of the hike. If you don’t have enough time to hike the trail, you can simply park at the Deer Lick Cave Trailhead and walk right down to the waterfall. To get to this trailhead, enter the park from Riverview Road and take Chippewa Creek Drive over the creek and until it intersects with Valley Parkway. Turn left onto Valley Parkway and the trailhead will be on your right in a little over a mile.
