Caesar Creek State Park
Located in Wilmington, Ohio, Caesar Creek State Park is 7900-acre park that is considered to be one of the most beautiful parks in all of Western Ohio. The park is home to several waterfalls, a gorge, steep ravines, thick old growth forests, a large lake, and over 40 miles of trails.
Trails:
Buckeye Trail:
Length: 16 miles
Difficulty: Moderate
Trail Description: 16 miles of the world famous Buckeye Trail that loops around Ohio goes through the park
Flat Fork area trail:
Length: 5 miles
Difficulty: Moderate
Trail Description: This trail goes between the Wellman Meadows boat ramp and the Flat fork area. The trail passes by the spillway, and one of the parks waterfalls; Horseshoe Falls
Visitor Center to Furnas Boat Ramp:
Length: 6 miles
Difficulty: Moderate
Trail Description: This trail passes through a thick mature forest and also passes by an Old Sugar Camp.
50 Springs to Wellmans Meadows:
Length: 2.5 miles
Difficulty: Moderate
Trail Description: Trail shares the same path as a mountain bike trail for a little bit before breaking away and crossing over a ravine. The trail takes you to Crawdad Falls, and then to Pioneer Village. Behind Pioneer Village the trail continues and will take you past a water tower and to Wellmans Meadows.
